02/03/2010 - Auntie Anne's® celebrates first store to open in the Republic of Ireland
-Doors open at 11am on the 13th March 2010, in Blanchardstown Centre-
Auntie Anne's®, the world's largest hand-rolled soft pretzel chain with over 1,000 outlets worldwide, has today announced the opening of their first Republic of Ireland store on Saturday 13th March 2010. The store will open with the company’s trademark pretzel pulling ceremony and very own Mr Twistee at 11am, Unit 146 in Blanchardstown Centre, Ireland's leading Shopping and Retail Park destination .
Bringing a new concept of snacking to Ireland, all of Auntie Anne’s trademark pretzels will be created, stretched, rolled, twisted and baked fresh in store using Auntie Anne’s secret recipe flour blend and locally sourced ingredients.
The Blanchardstown store, which will create 10 new jobs, will be owned and operated by business partners Kieran Riley and Conor Dardis of KC Pretzels (Ireland) LTD, who are looking forward to bringing the snacking sensation to Dublin. "We are delighted to be bringing the first Auntie Anne’s freshly baked pretzels to Ireland, and look forward to welcoming customers into our brand new store in Blanchardstown Centre.’
The store will operate the brand’s extensive menu, offering customers freshly baked sweet and savoury hand-rolled pretzels in a selection of flavours, with something to tickle everyone’s taste buds. The extensive menu includes sweet Pretzels such as Cinnamon Sugar, Chocolate, Almond, Raisin and Vanilla Sugar, whilst the savoury options include Original, Garlic, Sour Cream and Chive, Sesame, Jalapeño, Cheese as well as Pepperoni.
Alongside the traditional soft dough pretzels, customers can also sample the new addition of ‘Pretzel Dogs’ to the Auntie Anne’s menu. Made with Herta® hot dogs ‘Pretzel Dogs’ are wrapped in the trademark dough and baked until golden brown. As all products are prepared fresh on site, special dietary requirements, such as no salt, no butter and low fat options, can be catered for on request.
For the full experience why not ask staff to recommend one of the extensive range of dipping sauces to compliment your pretzel experience. The store will also serve lemonade, freshly squeezed on site every day, Coca-Cola® minerals and Java Republic® Fairtrade coffee.
